About

I’m a mom in my mid-40s living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my family.

In May–June 2025, I lost all my savings, retirement, and investments to a financial fraud, more than $500K — a devastating blow I never saw coming.

It was very painful. I felt hurt, ashamed, regretful, hopeless, and angry. It not only took away my money, but also, for a time, my trust in strangers and even in the people around me.

But then, in July and August, when I spent time with my family, I felt grateful — for what I still have: a forgiving and supportive husband, two healthy and loving kids, a stable job, and caring friends who prayed for me.

From that gratitude, I found strength.

I began to ask myself: If I’m back at zero, how do I want to restart? What if I try the things I was once too comfortable to risk? What if I do it all differently this time?

So this blog isn’t about the loss. It’s about what comes after. It’s about rebuilding from the wreckage using grit, curiosity, and hope.

This is my journey.
This is what it means to be Made After the Fall.
